i want to give some comments. lol.
the incident that happened to elaine's neighbour once more reminded me of the fraility and fragility of life. "we are a vapour, you are eternal". how long does one live? 80 years? 90? or 110? but that compared to eternity, the beginning of time, is so insignificant. then, we must live each day meaningfully, so that we will not have any regrets at the end of our lives. things we should have said, done, thought about; things we may never get to do again. yet there is a delicate balance of waiting for the right time and missing the opportunity. in such circumstances, we need wisdom and guidance from God!
so, im reminded of the urgency in reaching out! there's this passage that we must hurry cos night is coming. the workers are few, but the harvest is plentiful. and some names pop into my mind.

next, we are only 1/6 billion people on earth, 1/100 billion or sth person that will ever walk on this earth. in light of that, how severe can the problems we face be? overwhelming as they seem, it is not possible that we have suffered the most. come on, how much can life stink when we think of people who died in genocides, got trapped under rumble from an earthquake, got stabbed to death, tortured to death, murdered cos his skeleton would be an interesting addition to a collection etc?
